ATTENTION ALASKAN PUPPY BUYERS:
Welcome to the Dela Doodle website, if you're here, you're probably looking to add a doodle baby into your family and would like to see what we have available. Let me start off by saying please do your research. I have been breeding and raising doodle puppies in Alaska for quite awhile now and there are so many backyard breeders in Alaska who are breeding their dogs without any health testing and only doing it for profit. The market is flooding with random COVID doodle breeders who have no idea what they are doing. They have no puppy culture in raising these pups, and are potentially passing around risky genetic diseases to their offspring that will cause you nothing but heartache and huge vet bills in the future.
Ask questions, trust your gut, and know that if you're raising quality puppies that they won't be cheap. If your looking to purchase a lower priced doodle, ask us about our flexible payment plans. Remember, you get what you pay for.
With Dela Doodles, you get more than just a puppy, you gain a community and family of other local Alaskan doodle families who are here to support you in any way. Read our reviews, ask the families about their experience. See all the support your pups go home with and compare it with others. We go beyond taking your new pup home. We set you and your new puppy up for life. We will not set you up for failure.
We also offer a puppy cam so you are able to watch your puppy grow and see the care we give them everyday. We are an open book because we are proud to show everyone the care and love we give to our grandoodles. I have been contacted by several people who have been scammed by other local "breeders", or took in a pup with little no knowledge on how to care for them, have no contracts, no take home knowledge, no support and only 1-2 pictures of their parents background or puppies upbringing. This type of breeder service gives the reputable ones a bad name. If you don't find what your looking for on this page and are considering a pup from another source, please feel free to contact me even if you aren't getting a pup from us. I don't want one more person to get scammed after spending so much money on a new family member.
Sincerly, The Dela Doodle Family

Hello!
Hello There :) We are the Coartney Family. We live in Anchorage, Alaska and have 4 young and adventurous children. Our doodle journey started in 2015 when we bought our first home and decided it was time to welcome a fur-baby into the family. My husband wanted an active, well tempered dog that he can take with him to the station, and I wanted a medium size family dog that was hypoallergenic to cuddle with. After much research we came across the Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle breed and fell in love. We decided we wanted other families to experience the same love we have for this breed. We believe in raising happy healthy puppies and my kids love to help raise and care for each litter. The best part of it all is we get to meet new families who love our doodles just as much as we do. We raise our pups in our homes with our children, and we also allow our guardian families to help whelp and raise our pups also. We believe in raising our pups in a loving, loud and busy Alaskan household. This type of environment raises happy and healthy pups who are confident and trainable for you and your family. Having a Dela Doodle pup means being apart of a large Alaskan Doodle Community of support. Welcome to the Dela Doodle Family

I just needed to post my forever gratitude to deladoodles for helping us complete our family.
My kids desperately wanted a dog and I was a bit apprehensive. Chelsea helped answer 1,000s of questions that helped me feel secure in welcoming a puppy into our home not only once but twice!
We chose deladoodles because of the family based breeding program. Chelsea raises these pups in her home. Her children help with a lot! You will routinely see them bathing, cleaning, weighing pups, and playing with them. It was so reassuring to know the puppy I’d be bringing home to my crazy kids, the youngest a 3 year old, was already socialized and used to kids.
I also love that Chelsea is there as a concerned family member to my puppy. She doesn’t sell puppies and peace out. She has created an amazing community that can answer all your dog questions and more. She stays in touch with the adoptive families and helps keep them in touch with other littermate families. It isn’t something I thought I needed until amigo broke his leg and I was surrounded by Chelsea and other doodle people with answers to once again 1,000s of my questions. I promise this is one of the biggest reasons you should get a deladoodles even if you don’t think it’s important at the beginning.
Deladoodles is the absolute best. I can’t recommend them enough!

I’ve taken way too long to write this because it’s impossible to find the right, or enough, words to explain the impressive experience of joining the Dela Doodle family. I’m also so glad to have waited to add some of our first month experience together.
It’s made very clear from the beginning that Chelsea has built such a community full of doodle love that is so supportive and genuine.
Questions are always welcome and answered in such an inviting way! And I say “are” because even though our pups are home with us, the support doesn’t end. All the way down to Chelsea asking for poop pictures 💩😂 to help narrow down how to help make sure they’re feeling their best!
I was sure I wanted a Popsicle puppy and when I found out it was her last litter, I got an app and deposit put in right away!
Then Chelsea suggested a second pup, and I thought I was crazy for even considering it.
Then my friends thought I was crazy for doing it. And theeeen I got them home… and I could not be happier that we got 2!
Wouldn’t have it any other way! It has been the BEST experience with these sweet, sassy, loving, full of life girls.
Yes, Chelsea was right, 2 doodle babies together is so great. 😆🥰
Neither puppy was born yet. So the full experience from getting to see birth videos and pictures in the litter family chat, to detailed videos and pictures to make our puppy picks, to daaaaily updates of how they’re doing, what they’re learning and just really ALLLL of the things. There is SO MUCH communication I don’t know how in the world they keep up to be honest!!!
Chelsea’s level of organization is top notch.
She provides a welcome packet with what to expect, tips for travel both air and road, what the best products are, oh and don’t forget the play pen! The play pen set up is a GAME CHANGER!
Get the products recommended, you won’t regret it. They’re recommended for a dang good reason! (Multiple beds and extra packs of the play pen floor mat are great for rotating laundry)
One addition we have loved is an elevated cot bed, got a $16 one on Amazon and the girls love it. Don’t skip the Little Wolves potty tray. These girls came home knowing where to potty already. Used it in the car driving home to Fairbanks. They are babies- and yes have had several oopsies, but a whopping 95+% of the time, they are using their potty tray and I am so excited to get them training to go outside once their shot rounds are complete!
You get detailed information as take home gets closer, wormer schedule, reminders for pet insurance, micro chip registration etc.
A folder containing the final vet information with their vaccine and worming schedule, what food they’ve been eating, supplements they might have used- it’s seriously seamless.
And most important- You can tell right from the beginning how much love goes into what Chelsea and her family does. Her whole family is involved, these pups are so well socialized and loved on while they’re growing strong enough to come to their new home.
These sweet girls that we welcomed home are so curious, outgoing, sweet, and just the best temperaments for family dogs and the 2 littles we have in our home.
Don’t get me wrong- we are putting in the training work. Nuggie has lots of energy- but is SO SMART. Truffie is too- she is just quiet and bit more laid back and is happy to just quietly snuggle up lol. Both girls are doing so good learning commands. They can both consistently sit, lay and wait. Working on paw. THEY ARE 9 and 10 WEEKS!! Still such babies- and seriously SO SO smart, willing, ready to soak it all in and please!!!
If you made it this far- moral of the story is that Dela Doodles are just THE BEST. 🙌🏼
Thank you thank you THANK YOUU to Chelsea and her family- and extended Dela Doodle family, in our case specifically Melissa, who all made it possible for our girls to join our little family.
We are absolutely in love if that’s not clear.

Dante with Peanut
This is a long review, but I promise it’s worth the read. My family and I live in Utqiagvik (or Barrow) Alaska, where there is no veterinarian. We had an extremely traumatic situation with our dog, Peanut, recently, and had to fly her to Anchorage for emergency surgery. I want to tell others how Chelsea and the entire Dela Doodle community came through for us. When my family and I first wanted a puppy, we did research on what breed would fit our family best. Chelsea and I went to high school together and I’d been following her Dela Doodles group for a while and was so impressed with not only how she cares for the dogs and each puppy, but the different types of thorough health testing she does, the education she provides, and the community she built; how she continuously brings everyone together. She is also extremely thorough in choosing who she allows to have her pups to ensure they will be well cared for. I was never a person that would get a dog from a breeder, but what Chelsea does is completely different in the most beautiful way. I ended up getting our little Peanut from her and her family. Most breeders don’t stay involved once you take the puppy home, but Chelsea is so happy to continue to be a part of their and your lives. She has group chats by litter to connect us all, as well as group chats for all DelaDoodle pup parents. We’re able to bond, and were given thorough education on caring for our pups, and the importance of pet health insurance (this is important for later). She even makes sure that everyone that has a pup from her has the first 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance for free! After the puppies were born (Chelsea is right there with the mamas and pups fully involved) she gave us a link for a puppycam so we were able to watch our babies before we could take them home. With the puppycam, we’re also able to see where the dogs and pups are kept: each space is beautiful, kept super clean by Chelsea and her whole family, and most importantly safe. She and her family also interact with and socialize the pups so well, which shows as Peanut is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. Fast forward to now, Peanut is now 1 year and a few months old. This is the traumatic part. My family and I were on vacation for just under 3 weeks and had people to watch our dogs. We came home to a horrific scene. Peanut was severely injured, and that is an understatement by far. I was hysterical, and so unsure how Peanut was even alive from seeing how bad her wound was. I called someone to come help Peanut with me and then immediately texted Chelsea, who talked me through the whole thing. I couldn’t think, I couldn’t focus, but she directed me to hold warm compress on Peanut’s wound. She told me it needed to be cleaned, which I was able to get someone with vet med experience to come help clean her. Even in the middle of what she had going on with her own life, she took the time to walk me through it all and just listen to me. This is what Chelsea does with any pup parent that reaches out to her, she treats them as if they’re her own. Chelsea makes sure we know not to hesitate to contact her, and she sure came through that night. Once Peanut was stable, and we had our tickets to Anchorage bought (we don’t have a veterinarian in Barrow where we live) I messaged the Dela Doodle group chat to give warning of our situation so it wouldn’t happen to others. The way everyone in the group chat immediately came through for us was unbelievable. Through such a stressful, scary time, unsure if Peanut would even make it through the next day alive, they were sending comforting messages. Chelsea continued to check in on Peanut. One lady in the group chat worked for the airline and passed the message on to her coworkers of what happened. On the plane, they upgraded our seats so we were closer to the front instead of the back of the plane, which made it faster for us to get off the plane and make sure Peanut was alive, then take her to the emergency vet. The flight crew was so unbelievably kind to us, giving my daughter and husband complimentary snack packs and comforting words. The entire group chat was checking in, rooting for Peanut. It’s so easy to feel alone in situations like this, but they all made us feel like family. We waited at the emergency vet for Peanut while she was in surgery, so afraid, in tears. We hadn’t eaten, we weren’t prepared to stay so long, all we did was rush right to the vet. One lady from the group chat came right over and brought a blanket for my youngest daughter, gave us all hugs, and asked how Peanut was doing. Another lady from the group chat brought us enchiladas, the most delicious cookies we’ve ever had, drinks, and even mini jenga to keep our minds off the worry. She even put sour cream and salsa in the bag. My husband and my mother in law eventually brought my daughter back to our Airbnb so she could get some sleep, while I stayed at the vet emergency. I was there for a total of 13 hours. That entire night everyone in the group chat kept me company, sent memes, and more comforting words. I wasn’t alone, I was surrounded by people who love Peanut as much as I do. When the vet came out to tell me Peanut had made it through surgery, I was so happy. Then the vet office staff called me up about my bill, I was prepared to have to pay thousands. But the Trupanion pet insurance Chelsea recommends, that I continued to keep Peanut on, made it so we only had to pay $643 out of Peanut’s $3,232 total bill. On top of that, the office staff said it was the only pet health insurance they took that didn’t require the owner to pay in full and later get reimbursed by insurance. This took so much stress off of us financially. Chelsea doesn’t just recommend things for no reason, she does her research and attests to things that she herself has learned is best for our dogs health and safety, and for us dog parents. Chelsea is also mailing us a gift basket for Peanut! We’re on the plane now headed back home to Barrow with Peanut, who is healing up great! The genuine kindness shown to us and to Peanut throughout this entire situation has brought tears to my eyes multiple times. I’m crying typing this right now. I am in awe, and we wouldn’t have had this experience if Chelsea hadn’t created the safe, supportive space that she has. When you get a Dela Doodle pup, you’re joining a family as well. Thank you Dela doodle family!
